Horse racing / Navarro and Servis

Covert racehorse doping, two personal dispositions, and a later remedy ruling.

What the record says

Jorge Navarro received five years in prison; Jason Servis received four. A related Second Circuit appeal upheld Fishman and Giannelli convictions but vacated specified financial orders. It did not undo Navarro’s or Servis’s pleas.

Read this carefully. Both trainers pleaded guilty and received separate federal sentences. Related appellate remedy changes concern other defendants.
